TO BE AWARE OF : the more weight of items you put on the desk's shelves, will affect how easy it folds back.
You do have to slightly lift before it will fold back.
DEFINATELY benefits from being attached to a wall, as advised.
SNAG : leg room not very wide. Doesnt accodomate the desk chair I had bought earlier from elsewhere. Oversight on my part.
