Can’t get the lids off!Anonymous reviewerI am a fit, healthy, middle aged adult, and I can confirm as other reviews below have said, great pots, nightmare lids! For me, they go on fine, but I cannot remove them without a fight. Not sure if other IKEA lids fit? Will gladly buy, or I’ll have to chuck all my otherwise perfectly functioning pots away. Aside from the lids, these containers are a good size for single portion leftovers, they’re sturdy, they stack nicely, and they go in the dishwasher, freezer and microwave fine (though best not to microwave, as food contained within is awkward, bordering on dangerous, to decant into a dish when hot). But without a decent lid, they’re next to useless.2

Surprised it got past product testing. Would buy an improved version though as the size/shape is exactly what I need. 1

Hard to remove lidsAnonymous reviewerI wanted glass and these look very nice. But the lids are very stiff & there's no purchase on the glass base to get them off. If you store soup in there, you might end up covered in it while trying to get the lid off! Work fine for veggies etc with lid not completely secured. Smaller than they look in the photo. Look nice but would not buy again.3

You can’t store liquids as in the wrestle to open the lid everything will fall. Lovely size and stackable, but shame as not usable due to lid issue. Change the lid material IKEA !!!!!1

Lid problemAnonymous reviewerThis container is the perfect size, exactly what I needed to store leftover sandwich fillings. However, the really nice design is completely ruined by the function of its lid. As other reviewers have noted, the lid can be too stiff - in my case making it really difficult to remove. This lid problem means you have to: a) choose carefully what you put in the container because of the risk of it flying everywhere when you try to open it; b) have to use a sharp implement - knife or whatever, to prise the lid off. What a shame IKEA, a good and potentially useful product with beautiful design, ruined by the lid. 3
