Looks nice, mostly easy to assemble except for the back!Anonymous reviewerYes, it’s looks nice once finished. It’s a straightforward assembly process, the only difficulty being the back. In the instructions, it’s a simple job of sliding the back board into the side grooves, the reality is a bit different because each side is 2 metres long, the grooves are a tight fit and the backboard folds out in the middle. I eventually had to sand down the board edges to put it together. Another slight issue are the product code stickers, when you peel them off they leave a glue residue, I didn’t want to try too hard to remove it in case I damaged the surface.
Not usual ikea standardAnonymous reviewerThe assembled product could not be made to be rigid. There was a significant movement left to right on the assembled unit. Whilst I acknowledge the item would be fixed to the wall, no other ikea product of this nature has needed to be attached to the wall to get this movement stable. In all other purchases I have made attaching to the wall prevents the unit toppling forward. I believe the issue could in part be due to the design of the back panel which slides into the unit. Other purchases see the back panel pinned to the unit offering the stability required prior to fixing to the wall. Would not recommend.
Impossible to assemble Anonymous reviewerThe screws are impossible to get in - extremely frustrating experience. Would not recommend!
Poor qualityAnonymous reviewerIt looked well in the offer, unfortunately the furniture came with the frame in the separate box, four small stands in two small boxes and shelves came each packed separately. It was all confusing. In the end the furniture is slightly leaning to the side. You can't level it, entire structure is gently moving. I think that's why there is an option to fix to the wall. Unfortunately I didn't want to make wholes in my wall for this. The furniture should be stable and perfectly leveled. Definitely too expensive for this quality.
Looks great, very customisable and easy to put togetherAnonymous reviewerThe units look really nice and sleek, they were super easy to put together and you can customise them for you space (different feet, different door layouts, different shelves/drawers etc) so are perfect!
cheapo materials, lazy designAnonymous reviewerhard to put together unless you have a huge room due to the way the backing board fits, and it's structural! Except it's loose! There is not one corner they haven't cut whilst still hiking the prices up and up. As long as it looks nice that's where their concern seems to end. The rotating screw locks aren't even metal. It feels like a stern look would knock it over. I actually suspect they are insisting you screw it into the wall not just for safety but to give it a bit more strength. Ikea are becoming a bad joke.
Flimsy and badly engineered.Anonymous reviewerUtter waste of money. Flimsier than slice of jelly, feels as cheap as a Tory promise.
The grooves to ‘slide’ (don’t make me laugh) the backing board in are not wide enough to accept the board. No chance of getting it in and it ended up splitting down the centre.
Plastic parts are brittle with one of the wall mounts snapping off.
Extremely poor quality and not worth half the price. I’m sure IKEA will tell me that if I’m not satisfied I can ‘exchange it for another’ or ‘accept a refund’ but please, IKEA tell me, ‘why should I make a 2hr round trip to my nearest store because you failed to make a satisfactory product?’
LouiseAnonymous reviewerHad to drill all of the side panel as back would not slide in , not only did i pay fifty pounds for delivery i then had to pay someone a further twenty pounds for kindly doing it for me. i could not come to the store as i am shielding at present
Perfect storage xAnonymous reviewerCompletes my middle room and makes so much use of space the doors on it look fab x
Perfect storage for Dining roomAnonymous reviewerWe purchased 2 tall, deep black BESTA cabinets with square oak doors top & bottom, with all-glass doors & shelves for the middle sections. These cabinets sit either side of a tall black Sufflor Unit purchased from IKEA years ago. They house our extensive DVD/Bluray library, alcohol, tableware & shiny ornaments. They were fairly easy to assemble, except for the back panel which was 2 wide for the slots. However, we worked out a way to get around this and the cabinets look amazing!
Love itAnonymous reviewerLooks fantastic tbf it was easy to ensemble
