The wall shelf has one bevelled and one smooth edge on the long side, so you can choose the side you want facing the room depending on which of the two different styles you like the most.
Good to know
Max. load refers to the max. weight before the shelf is risking to slant. Distribute the weight evenly on the shelf to avoid the risk of slanting.

Stupid way of fitting the brackets to the wallAnonymous reviewerI had in the past similar shelves with similar way of fitting the brackets to the wall and I thought that they improved it but absolutely disappointed since I can’t make them to be perfect and strong fit to the wall, especially on plasterboard walls. Waste of money.

We bought them to install in rows and found it very difficult to line them up properly because of the movement once the shelves are attached to brackets. They look great but it was hard work to get them looking perfect
Lovely construction and design, butAnonymous reviewerLovely construction and design, but unfortunately the shelf and brackets are different shades of white and it cheapens the look! Also only 2 of my 4 shelves had screw covers, which was another disappointment. I love IKEA and the shelves are solid enough. Just a shame that they are not colour matching. All gave same batch and product no’s so we thought they’d be the same.
