Wide block-out curtain in green with soft, peach skin feel. The lightweight recycled polyester falls gently and keeps its fresh appearance after each wash. Cut to length and hang – the fabric won’t shred.

The fabric blocks out all light and glare on TV/screens. It gives complete privacy as shapes or light cannot be perceived from outside and the transition between day/night cannot be distinguished

The fabric in recycled polyester is easy-care and retains its colours ‒ wash after wash.

Curtains with heading tape allow you to hang the curtain directly on the curtain rod using the rod pocket or tabs. You can also hinge the curtain onto a track rail using gliders and hooks.

You can cut this curtain to the length you want. There’s no need to hem or sew - the laminated fabric does not shred.

The 250 cm length is ideal if you want to hang the curtain above the window for a casual look.

To determine the number of curtains needed, divide the rod/track length by the width of one curtain. Always round up.

To determine the total width of curtains needed, multiply the rod/track length by 1.5 for a light, airy look, 2 for a standard look, and by 2.5 for a fuller, richer look.

The laminated fabric blocks out all light. Ensure the curtain covers the entire window and when possible, choose wall fittings with a short (6 cm) arm to prevent light from coming in through gaps.

23 gliders and hooks are usually recommended for each curtain with a width of 210 cm. You can increase or decrease the number depending on whether you want narrower or fuller folds in the pleats.

Yes they are thin but cover large windows or doorsAnonymous reviewerI have an old 1930's house. The downstairs bay window is large and high and I have to have curtains which will cover 5 metres from edge to edge with folds - and a drop to the floor of at least 2 metres (area under window itself is always cold and needed covering) . House is for sale and empty and I didnt want to have to spend at least £140 for a set to fit, just for viewings etc. I saw these in Ikea Lakeside and although these are very thin, almost like a softer shower curtain material I knew they would fit. I bought 2 and they fit perfectly with pleats looking good. They were a bit creased at first but I opened them up and let them hang over a landing balcony overnight and the heat going upstairs had made most of the creases drop out the next morning. They look brilliant up but best of all to my surprise they keep the cold out from under the window. Bargain and although I was unsure of the thinness, will buy another one for my new home patio door.5
