Perfect Size, Look Natural And Hard-WearingAnonymous reviewerWe had looked for the 'right' baskets for our storage shelving unit in our kitchen and were relieved to find these baskets. They are the right size and have the right 'look' we were after. The colour is a mild honey so nice and neutral (not 'orangey'); the wicker is plastic but looks so natural so has the bonus of being hardwearing and water-proof (great for use in the kitchen where I use a steamer regularly). We bought six and will go back for another two.

It’s only when you look closely, you can see they are not made of natural materials. I'm quite happy with the plastic as they are for storing dog toys and therefore, easy to wash regularly.
Good quality, but doesn’t fit inside the Songesand Bedside Table as shown in a photo on the bedside table page. Anonymous reviewerI bought 2 of these baskets purely because I was buying 2 Songesand Bedside Tables, and on the page for these tables there is a photo of this basket inside the cupboard. On the product details for the baskets it says they’re available in 2 sizes, but there’s only one size on the order page. As I wasn’t able to add them to my order for the bedside tables (and a lamp) as it stated that my order was too small, I had to travel to an Ikea collection point to collect the baskets. On assembling the bedside tables, I am very disappointed to find that these baskets do not fit inside the cupboard as the door hinges are in the way! I have no idea how Ikea managed to get their basket inside the cupboard in the photo! Very misleading! And a wasted journey to collect them. Perhaps remove the photo on the Songesand page so other customers don’t make the same expensive & disappointing mistake. I’m now left with £35 (inc. £5 delivery charge to the collection point) worth of baskets I cannot use.

Easy-care plastic rattan/steel
Plastic rattan combined with powder-coated steel is durable, weather-resistant and easy to care for since it is maintenance-free. To keep the fresh look after many hours in the sun the plastic is both UV stabilised and fade resistant.
