Can't replace bulbsAnonymous reviewerOne bulb became faulty after less than three years. The flickering was so bad the whole lamp was unusable and will have to be thrown away. Bad for the environment, bad for my pocket, poor manufacture, poor design and a waste of my time.

Elegant LightAnonymous reviewerWe bought this to replace an old strip light in our utility room. The track is much thinner and we struggled a bit to fit all the wiring into the smaller space in the light, especially as we have a two way switch, but we did it in the end. We are very pleased with it and it looks great. The light it gives out is a very warm colour, much nicer than the cold light from the strip light and easier on the eye. We are very pleased with our purchase.
Does not last Anonymous reviewerBought this less than 3 years ago and loved it but now it stopped working. Tested it and appears faulty. Nothing on it can be replaced so a big waste and environmentally very poor. IKEA need to improve this light or stop selling it asap.

Didn't LastAnonymous reviewerWhen I purchased this track of lights I was very pleased. Part of the reason why I bought them was that the info. gave 25 year lifetime. Now 3 years down the line they suddenly stopped. The electrician said there was a fault inside at the light source. Unfortunately, the bulbs aren't replaceable, so the whole track had to be replaced. Not too happy about that.
Looks great - in the boxAnonymous reviewerI thought this product would be a simple way to replace my kitchen's central ceiling light with a quasi-track arrangement of spotlights. Unfortunately it let me down due to two aspects of the wiring routing. The unit is mounted on a backing plate that is largely a single strip of metal with just a few screw holes and one wire hole. First problem, the wire hole is NOT in the centre, but about 2/5ths of the way along the unit's length. So I can't centre the light in the room. Second problem, said hole is only large enough to permit a twin cable through. So I can't hide the ceiling rose connectors inside the unit housing.
The product looks really nice and is good value for money in terms of function. Such a shame that it's such a pain to install in a typical UK ceiling.

Cannot combine two tracksAnonymous reviewerI had bought two of these tracks with a view to joining them together with the power fed from one end/ But this has not proved possible. It is not possible for me to rewire and replaster the ceiling for alternative connections.
Love it - but can't find the energy ratingAnonymous reviewerThis is a beautiful light - and it gives the effect of down lights without needing to fit them! 5 lights that all position to different areas and really easy to fit (as long as you have those great self tapping metal plasterboard fixings!). It does blend into the ceiling very well and gives a sleek modern effect. It was brighter than I expected at first and I didn't know if it would be too bright (as it's not dimmable) but I got used to it and I now love having such bright lighting in my kitchen. I couldn't find the energy rating as that was mentioned by another reviewer and I'm concerned because I'd assumed as an LED light it was reasonably good on the energy consumption side but that's definitely info I'd like to see on the website listing and might have changed my score...and is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Mine got flooded from the bathroom upstairs and stopped working and I've bought a replacement straight away because I love it so much!
