I bought a footrest from another company that makes footrests for ikea high chairs as babies should have a footrest to support them. We also use the ikea cushion insert to pad this out whilst our baby is little.

Can't fault this highchairAnonymous reviewerI use a few of these for my business. I have some of the liners which are helpful for smaller children but any child that can sit up by themselves can go in without a liner. They are easy to clean. I use them indoors and outside. Straps are ok but no child should be left unattended in a highchair. Straps can be removed for washing too. The height of the chair without the tray fits under my table so children can be at correct height and eat with adults. They stack or if you really want to remove the legs to make them more put awayable it's not difficult. And the best bit they are cheap and no tripping over the legs as they dont extend much more than the seat. I cant fault them for what they are meant to do.
