Dipping after a weekAnonymous reviewerWe bought this mattress for our new home, and returned it a month later. Comfy at first, but after a week things started to shift. After 2, a significant dip was becoming obvious on my side of the bed - I'm 28f and weigh 52kg, and my male partner is significantly heavier but the issue on his side was no where near as bad. During an already stressful time our quality of sleep was really negatively impacted, and we were both waking up daily with back pain.
Likely a manufacturing fault, and after quite a bit of back and forth Ikea did make it right, but this has totally destroyed my faith in the quality of Ikea products. Like everything else, the quality seems to be getting worse while prices continue to climb.

wrong size mattressAnonymous reviewerI bought this single mattress as it looked good in the showroom. I would have enjoyed it if it had fitted on my single IKEA bed. It appears it is the only single bed in Ikea that takes a certain size (longer than usual) single mattress which was not very clear when I bought the bed . Sadly, I had to take the new mattress all the way back to IKEA. The recommended mattress for this bed (with 4 underbed drawers) is of poorer quality than I want but the only available type.
Never expanded properlyAnonymous reviewerI bought this in store and unfortunately it never expanded properly. Even after a few weeks it still wasn’t right. Customer support were excellent and organised a replacement to be delivered with the faulty one collected. Unfortunately the exact same thing happened with that one too. I gave it even longer and tried sleeping on it but it was impossible. When I measured it, it was still quite a bit off the depth that it should’ve been. Again customer support were excellent and I really can’t fault them, they organised for it to be collected and I got a refund this time. I don’t know if this was a faulty batch but I wasn’t willing to try another one.

Back pains for months - one to avoid!Anonymous reviewerIf you are a stomach sleeper - avoid at all costs. Despite us having the firm version of this mattress, I started having lower back pain that simply wouldn’t go away. Only when we were away for a fortnight over Christmas that my back pain went away after sleeping on a mattress with significantly better support. Hence why we have decided to order a new mattress (from elsewhere) after getting back.
This mattress appears decent in store but despite us only having had it for 7-8 months, it has aged very badly. My partner and I are both slim so I am shocked to see how a few months of use could lead to such loss of support.
I feel like I’m sinking into this mattress (and not in a good way).
Could not NOT RECOMMEND it enough for stomach sleepers
