All 4 sides are solid so cutting the back to allow a bit more depth and additional ventilation to prevent overheating was a bit tricky but not unmanageable. For the first time ever, one of the raw plugs were missing ( we have never had this in the 7 years that we have used ikea) but managed to find a spare in the shed
Overall it provided a great substitute for a table leg that looked great
