A wheely great productAnonymous reviewerI have been the owner of the smaller narrow Alex 5 drawers in my craft room for 6 years, when ever I try to move it to a different position it is a dead weight, even when I have emptied the drawers, yet my bigger Alex with longer drawers had wheels in the box when bought. So I was extremely delighted when browsing Ikea one evening I came across these Alex wheels on the website, visiting my local store the next day. Fitting them was very easy, I used a ruler and pencil to mark the hole position, an awl to make a starting point for the screw and finished with a screwdriver. Moving the Alex unit now is a dream, especially when family visit and I need to put the bed back in the spare room. How did I not know that this product was available before, I could have saved myself the backache.

Swivel to hideAnonymous reviewerThese castors raise the height of Alex drawer units so they’re the same height as the Alex desk, which makes my studio neat and tidy and extends working surface. Tip: once the unit is in place, swivel the castors back to hide them under the drawer unit.
