Anonymous reviewerI was dreading the hassle & expense of calling out a plumber but didn’t think I had the knowledge or tools fix the kitchen tap myself - until I looked in ikea. Got great advice in the Belfast store on making sure I was buying like-for-like & was able to fit the tap surprisingly quickly & easily following the guide. I hadn’t realised this before, but Ikea include a plastic tap spanner in the kit which works amazingly well - you don’t have to buy special tools. I didn’t lose a day’s pay waiting in for an expensive plumber & I actually enjoyed the satisfaction I got from doing the job myself. The only information I would have liked to see clearer was that I wasn’t sure, from the description in the guide, whether there was a high or low pressure nozzle pre-fitted into the tap. That was a bit unclear. It would be more helpful if nozzles were labelled. That’s all.

ColourAnonymous reviewerI purchased this tap twice and both times the colour was completely off - it was more golden in colour rather than stainless steel as it says in the description (the ones on display throughout the shop were fine too) - perhaps they were from a dud batch but I couldn’t have it alongside my stainless steel sink as it looked a completely different colour! Good quality, heavy tap though so it’s a shame.
Bad Design - Single Fixing causes a leanAnonymous reviewerLovely looking tap let down by having a single offset fixing which causes the tap to lean when tightened onto rubber seal. No reason why two fixings could not be provided.
