comfortable but smell is a big problem!Anonymous reviewervery firm and comfortable but the smell is a BIG PROBLEM! my advice to anyone buying this:- don't even try to use it as soon as you get it. take off the cover and wash it, and leave the mattress outside to air for as long as you can manage. i am having to do that now after 2 weeks of ownership/use in a very well ventilated bedroom. the smell is overpowering at first, and will keep you awake!

Exceptionally comfortable but smells terribleAnonymous reviewerFor those who prefer a firm mattress, this one is perfect. Certainly firm enough to completely undo all the back pain accumulated from sleeping on a mattress that was too soft. I love the memory foam layer for added comfort and appreciate the handles that have been added to the side for ease when moving it (the older version didn’t seem to have these).
However, it’s been 3 days since we opened the mattress and the chemical smell exuding from it is still eye-watering in its strength and toxicity. I struggled to sleep last night from the smell alone and we’ve had the windows open constantly to air it out. I’m not sure what else to do to rid it of this smell, and I do hope it dissipates soon. I haven’t experienced this with previous ikea mattresses so I’m not sure where this one’s gone wrong?
For comfort and design I would have given it 5 stars, but the smell is unbearable and in the hopes that it eventually goes, it’s receiving a fairly generous 4 stars instead.

Worng dimensions Anonymous reviewerDo not believe the dimensions advertised, the width is not 150 cm, it is 147cm. Length is not 200 cm, it is the way less @ 193-194cm. The height is just 13-14 instead 16cm.

Ok for a spare roomAnonymous reviewerDecent memory foam, and very little smell , but unlike previous similar purchases from Ikea, it does not have sturdy edges so you end up sleeping on a slope. Not very restful as I feel like I need to hold on. Have almost fallen out a couple of times.
