Quality issueAnonymous reviewerIt worked fine, but I've just found that the earth pin (well, ISOD) has snapped off. It's stored completely surrounded by barriers in a corner, so nobody can have trodden on it. The plastic must just be weak, and have cracked from the force of being plugged in and out.
I have never seen that happen with any other plug; the pins are usually stronger because they are normally metal (even if they're not actually connected, as in this case). Just because this is double insulated doesn't mean you should use a plastic pin instead, clearly!
And because it's part of the device (instead of a separate cable and plug top), I can't even repair it. So that's a big waste of resources.
Unbeatable for the price BUT...Anonymous reviewer... it ONLY supports one specific battery chemistry. In other words, it only works with IKEA LADDA. Which is not a bad thing if you've loaded on LADDA during your visit.

But because it plugs straight into the socket, with no lead, you will need to consider the chunky proportions as it may prevent plugging an additional item alongside it when using a double or multiple socket.

This ikea charger often part-charges batteries then flashes red (supposedly indicating faulty battery) but when transferred to the old charger the same batteries charge & work just fine. If I hadn’t had another charger to check them I might have discarded many good batteries by now. So use with caution, if at all. Works just fine when it ‘likes’ the batteries.

Fantastic Charger! Easy to UseAnonymous reviewerI bought this charger for my sister as she gets through a lot of batteries which are then recycled. I started using rechargeable batteries last year and think this is the way forward in helping to save the environment and keeping costs down. Good value for money, takes 2 hours to recharge so I’ve bought extra batteries so I don’t have to wait if I need one urgently. This charger takes both double and treble A batteries!

Stopped working after just over a yearAnonymous reviewerThis was purchased for me late 2021 and it has randomly stopped working - no lights, no charging. Will buy another as they’re great value and this may be a one off, but I’m a bit worried now.
When it did work, it charged batteries nice and slowly (to prolong their life), the fact it can charge batteries individually is amazing at this price point.
