Reduced water consumptionAnonymous reviewerBut doesn’t allow water to heat.3
Pass-through functionality would be usefulAnonymous reviewerNot easy to install, instructions were confusing although in the end I figured it out. It fit my Grohe tap (non-IKEA)
The water flow is reduced by a _lot_, which is the point but when I want a glass of water it takes ages, so a third "pass-through" option would be nice.4
Great Idea but hidden pitfallsAnonymous reviewerI think this is a great idea in principle, it just wont work for many UK buyers that have a combi boiler system.
All combi boilers have a minimum hot water flow rate before the boiler fires up. Unfortunately, this nozzle cuts down the water flow to under this minimum flow level (on my worcester bosch boiler it's around 3L/M) so the boiler never starts to heat the water. The flow rates
This could be solved by modifying the design so that different size restrictors were available.
Also, the good to know section never mentions the flow rate.1
Didn't fit my tapAnonymous reviewerThe idea of this product is great.
I was looking forward to it to reduce my water usage.
Unfortunately it didn't fit my taps.
And the instructions on it was really unclear.1
ABACKEN ReviewAnonymous reviewerCouldn't able to use the product, instruction are not explained very well. Broke a part when assembling.4
Lousy instructionsAnonymous reviewerThe instructions are not easy to follow: illustrations do not match the components closely enough. Someone not involved in its development needs to 'walk through' the whole process: some of the steps are muddled.
It is most likely that this device will only fit Ikea branded taps (or Swedish taps).1
Great idea ..... But ......Anonymous reviewerI bought 2 of these for the taps in our bathroom and en-suite - they fitted perfectly due to the various fitting adaptors with the kit however, when fitted to a mixer tap, the flow is so reduced (even with the jet adjusted to maximum flow) that you have to either run the tap for about 3 minutes to allow the warm water to come through, or you have to run a neighbouring shower / bath to get the warm water through from the boiler ...... eitherway it is a bit of a faff and i can;t see how it savs water over my original fitting. I have ended up removing them and reverted to the previous water saving adaptor that was fitted.2
Game changerAnonymous reviewerThis is SO GOOD. Only issue is the cost can quickly add up, so would love to see multipacks or multi buy discounts in future so all my taps can have one!5
