Not the bestAnonymous reviewerI didn't anticipate this being flat packed. Needless to say its doesn't form a perfectly circular shade. The inner metalwork fell apart when I tried to assemble it too. I returned the three I bought.1
Flat pack lampshade -ridiculous Anonymous reviewerWhoever thought flat packing a lampshade was a good idea?! They are fiddly to put together then when together the finish is poor and just doesn’t look right no matter how much you try and fix it. And all this wasted packaging? Just why? 1

Better than you would expectAnonymous reviewerI expected these lampshades to be more flimsy because of the price. They come flat packed and you assemble them by stretching them over a couple of metal hoops which you lock in place. The ridge at the bottom and top goes over the wire and keeps them in place. I bought white and don't mind replacing them when they get grubby. I used an Ikea adaptor to hold them in place on my standard lamp so just check to see if you need them. I think you might need 2 per light fitting.5

The packaging was new, it came in a flat box and I was a bit skeptical, but it was pretty easy to assemble. A wee bit tricky the first time putting the shade onto the frame, but it worked and looks great.
