The brackets have completely rusted and at the slightest knock crumble into the sink below. The coating of the mirror has worn off around the edges with time.
Pros: The shelf is sturdy enough, doesn't feel like it will come off. Does the job fine otherwise.

Improved design?Anonymous reviewerThis is my 2nd such mirror, the new design has several improvements, more secure shelf, rounded edges to shelf, and one annoying change, no spring loaded fixings at the top to release the mirror, instead an impossible to shift plastic rachet, oh no, why did you do that, don't tell me the accountants wanted that part cheaper.

What is mirror glass?
Mirror glass comprises mostly ordinary glass with a reflective coating made of metal. In the past, it was common for the coating to contain lead or mercury, but over time both of these metals have been shown to be harmful to people and the environment. Since 2009, IKEA has had a total ban on using lead or mercury in our mirrors. Instead, silver or aluminium is used to reflect your mirror image.
