I note that the actual mattress cover is a zip-off design. If only spare covers could be bought, it would be 100% perfect.5

Way doesn't this mattress fit my IKEA Bed!Anonymous reviewerI have a standard Double Malm Bed, so I purchased a standard double mattress. When I got it home it is too small for the bed, leaving a gap of 10cm at the bottom and a small gap at the sides. This means the mattress is going be sliding around all over the place. Why on earth is it not the same size as my Bed. It makes no sense. I was very angry when I realised. All the other mattress seem to be the same size as well. Beware before buying.5

Researched many other brands beforehand, as didn’t want to spend too much, whilst getting decent mattress for reasonable price. Not disappointed … “does what it says on the tin”. Medium supportive for back, no sagging, very comfortable to lie on. Well wrapped to transport in car and easy to manoeuvre onto centre of bed … Then carefully cut wrapping with scissors and it will inflate, perfectly. No bad smells that we could detect … Easy ‘click and collect’ experience from IKEA Southampton.. Thanks IKEA.5
Rock hard until springs 'ping'Anonymous reviewerTLDR: Avoid - spend twice the money on something better quality. It won't last 10 years! I seldom write reviews, but I felt it necessary to warn people after my experience with this mattress for three years. I bought the firm, because I found the soft in the store too wallowy. At first I thought it may wear in (like most mattresses do) but this mattress remained like sleeping on a board. Then after about a year, the springs started developing this weird clicking sound (accompanied with a sudden give) that only occurred in certain areas of the bed. (I have a video of this if Ikea is interested.) The final nail in the coffin was when my partner was unable to sleep. It is not as though either of us are overweight or have put unnecessary strain on the mattress, I even tried turning it around every 6 months. Eventually we took it down to the tip and spent twice the money on something locally made that is much better quality.1

I unpacked the mattress at home and left it for a few days before putting on the bed base - some reviews mention the strange smell but I didn't find this to be an issue. My son told me that this is the most comfortable mattress he's ever slept on5

When you sleep or lie on it, it bends in a way that makes the body uncomfortable. Over time, the bend points also became visible, which was quite disappointing.1
