The back doesn't fit in properly and the whole thing feels flimsy as a result. The shelves (ordered separately) don't fit the frame and various parts arrived damaged. Huge faff to deconstruct in order to return to Ikea. Definitely avoid this product.

Flawed designAnonymous reviewerLike others have said, the back is a nightmare to install even with two people. Not sure how that got past the design phase. The rest is fine although the particle board is pretty cheap even by Ikea standards as the 'wood' started to separate when I screwed in one of the side panels. The doors also don't come pre drilled with holes (even though the shop floor model implies everything is included) so be prepared to drill through the panel to install handles. The new plastic pins that keep the back in place I feel is much better than the nails used in the PAX, that's about the only positive I can think of.

Poor qualityAnonymous reviewerI bought two of these units. We were able to put the first unit together without too much issue, but the second one really put up a fight, which ended with a broken corner to the unit. Like others have said, the back is almost impossible to fit in. And they just don't feel sturdy! I have put together larger Pax units before and they're so much easier and sturdier. I wish I had just gone for the Pax unit here but a bit late for that. Definitely won't be buying Lastare units again.
