Great - but needs holes for wiresAnonymous reviewerALEX is great but I am pretty disappointed that IKEA has not provided holes for wires, or optional holes with a rubber plug to cover them if unused. This should be standard considering it's an office product.

Great space but...Anonymous reviewerThis cupboard went together easily, i managed it on my own. It has a great amount of storage, but it's wasted with just one shelf (hence why only 4 stars). It would be better if it had more shelves or they were available as extra purchases.
Good storage unitAnonymous reviewerEasy to build, and provides good storage. Surprisingly deep, but great for keeping bigger items. Works nicely to support a desk, although needed to be raised about 7cm to get to the perfect height.
Solid and simple option for side of deskAnonymous reviewerI have 2 of these small cupboards in my office. One underneath the LAGKAPTEN desk and one separate. The instructions to secure the LAGKAPTEN desk top to the ALEX cupboard are not clear and it seems as if there are holes missing to screw the pieces together. As a result, my desk top just sits on the top without being secured. It’s heavy enough that it doesn’t move. I’m knowledgeable enough when it comes to flat pack furniture but this twisted my melon!!!

I built this on my own (3 in total) and it took me 30-45mins per one (I’m not experienced). I would recommend this, just be mindful of its finish being delicate.

Nice office cupboard Anonymous reviewerEasy to assemble. Took some playing to get the door to align. The little feet are stuck on with sticky tape and fall off when you move it on carpet, but they are not really necessary so I took them off. Looks great with my Alex drawers and desk top.
