Does the job, don't like the fixing clipsAnonymous reviewerBought to protect the top of the idanäs double drawers. The drawers are well made and heavy, and this top seems to do the job, although we haven't had it long enough to see how easily the glass scratches.
The fixing clips for the top mean the drawers have to be lifted away from the wall to install. Two person job. They're also very visible.

Protective glass Anonymous reviewerBought this to protect the top of the chest of drawers, does a good job, the only negative is the clips to hold it in place are almost impossible to get in, and snap, have therefore had to leave them out.
Good valueAnonymous reviewerThe first one arrived completely shattered but there was no issue with getting a replacement. It fits well and is good value. It’s a shame there isn’t one for the bedside cabinets. An easy peel sticky label would have been helpful and check that there are no fingerprints or smudges on the underside of the glass before you fix it in place as is difficult to remove once fixed

What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
