Super easy to assembleAnonymous reviewerQuite pleased with these lamp shades, so impressed with the ease of assembly and the overall look of them, bought two of the larger ones for the entrance to our home then bought two medium ones for a lounge and finally two small ones for a bedroom ! All the same colour so we have a bit of synergy throughout the property instead of the usual mish mash of lamp shades. Just ensure you assemble them all the same way around though ! It’s easy to get them upside down.5

Material

What is polyester?

Polyester is a durable, quick-drying and insulating material that is optimal to use for textiles and as filling in pillows, quilts and furniture. The material is made from crude oil – a limited resource. Since IKEA doesn’t want to contribute to more virgin oil being used, we are now gradually switching to recycled and traceable polyester from sources like PET bottles. What’s nice is that polyester can be recycled over and over, without changing or losing its great qualities.
