Reviews

Soft, beautiful rugAnonymous reviewerReally love this, warm under foot. We added a thin non-slip rug underneath to add bulk and comfort, as it is on the thinner side. Cats absolutely love curling up on it. Great for winter.5
Packing folds stay in rugAnonymous reviewerWhilst we basically like the rug, and the handy bag to carry it home seemed a good idea, we have had great difficulty removing the packing folds in the rug once laid. We have rolled it up for some days with minimal impact. We are now trying a steam iron to see if that will flatten the folds. We wouldn't have bouight it if we realised this would be a problem. The bag is not a good idea - roll it!3
Lovely rug!Anonymous reviewerThis is gorgeous, and adds a distinctive design area on my floor! Very pleased with this handmade item. Worth buying as will last and be eady to maintain. Not too heavy for my old bones to move about either!5

Form design process

Made using the Panja weaving technique

Panja weaving is a centuries-old method for making stunning and intricate rugs. A wooden frame with vertical threads is required, and the weaver uses a claw-like tool known as a "panja", to weave horizontal threads tightly through the vertical ones. Panja weaving is time-consuming and it usually takes 4-5 days to complete a rug. It involves considerable skill and attention to detail, resulting in one-of-a-kind works of art of exceptional quality and durability.

Function solution

Rugs just as unique as your home

Our rugs are different, just like every home. Each one is handmade by skilled artisans using their special weaving technique where the natural materials with different textures, patterns and colours create an authentic feel. These are limited-edition rugs where the design and style are updated frequently. So choose the one that suits your home best and enjoy a unique work of art that can withstand wear and tear for many years.

Material

What is wool?

Wool is a practical natural material that usually comes from sheep. The raw wool is washed and then spun into yarn. Wool rugs have many advantages. They're soft, warm and comfortable to walk on, and they're also very hardwearing. They're stain-resistant too, because wool has it own natural oil. This means that dirt stays on the surface and doesn't penetrate into the rug. All wool rugs shed - some more, some less - vacuum them regularly to prevent the loose fibres from scattering.
