Great value in my opinionAnonymous reviewerFrom reading the negative reviews I can only conclude that these people are heavier than the mattress can take. I only weigh between 57 - 60 KG and therefore have no issue with this mattress.
To be honest, the amount of compression is not particularly significant. 10cm is OK for me and it is comfortable enough. For £65 it is a great purchase for short term use, until I can buy a better one.

Too thinAnonymous reviewerThis mattress is way too thin, even when stacked in a pair. Its ok to sleep on for a night or two but anything longer and your back will be quite sore. There isn't much selection for other mattresses either which is unfortunate as the hemnes day bed frame is great and very practical.

Firm mattressAnonymous reviewerI purchased two of the AGOTNES mattresses alongside my purchase of a Hemnes day bed. These mattresses are thin so a single should suit a child. Bit thin for an adult. If using the daybed as a single, two stacked are ok for an adult. Personally the mattress is too firm I find it uncomfortable but I will give it time and see if I get used to it. Other family members think it is good. So I think this is individual preference.
Note these are European small single size 200 x 80, IKEA do not have a massive range in this size and most if not all are solid foam and only 10 to 12cm thick. Bear in mind for you are pairing this with a daybed, since it is not a standard size in the UK getting a decent replacement mattress will be more expensive /difficult to get hold off. To be fair for what it is, if you are only using it occasionally, it is value for money and does its job.
