Broke after 12 monthsAnonymous reviewerI purchased the NORDLI bed for the built-in storage and clean design, and initially I was very happy with the drawer space and overall look. However, after 1 year , one of the slats in the base broke under normal use. There is also no standard replacement for the slats . One breaking then had an effect of the other slats . So I would recommend upgrading the slats , The bed has been assembled correctly and used with a standard mattress, so this was disappointing given the price point. The storage function is excellent, especially for small spaces, but I would expect stronger support from the slatted base at this cost. I would recommend reinforcing the base or considering whether the support system meets your needs before purchasing.2

It boils done to this. It's just not comfortable - most nights I toss and I turn.
From the get-go, on the first night, I didn't have a good nights sleep and had a dreadful feeling that I had made a terrible mistake. The solid flat base has made our medium-firm mattress rock hard. It's like sleeping on the floor - a very hard, very flat feeling. I've persevered for months, thinking it would just take getting used too, however sadly, that's not been the case.2

Disappointed Anonymous reviewerMy 16 year old really wanted this bed, so I gave in. The bed was a nightmare to put together, no written instructions just images. I cannot understand why this bed is so expensive.
Very disappointed about how much money I have spent on this bed and in my opinion nowhere near worth the money plus the high delivery cost!!!3

Best bed you can buy in the Uk!Anonymous reviewerThis bed IMHO is the best bed for the money you can buy in the UK.
1st reason is the bed frame is rock solid.
2nd is the storage it’s like having a chest of drawers under your bed, the soft close hinges a brilliant, the drawers float in and out, without the use of one of those wheels some bed drawers have, like the old design of the bed, the mark 1.
Finding a bed that is rock solid for this kind of money would probably be near zero chance, normally a bed that is solid and doesn’t creek of move at all would cost over £2000.
The one thing people might not like, is that the double is a euro double size. I bought my mattress to suit the bed frame, but my next mattress will be a normal UK double, but even then I will like the mattress being a bit smaller because it will show off the white inside of the bed frame giving the impression of a modern white Japanese style bed. I will have to probably glue a couple pieces white timber just hold the mattress in place with a bit of silicone.5

Became unbearably noisyAnonymous reviewerAt first this bed was really great and the extra storage was really useful. Draws with dampening closing action is also a nice touch. But the bed creeks loudly with the slightest movement meaning it’s failing at the most important function as bed - allowing me to sleep well! This is due to (in my opinion) a design flaw - panels are the end of the bed overlap panels on the floor meaning slightest pressure causes them to rub together. Now considering getting a new bed so this will be a costly mistake for me1
