Did you know IKEA offers planning, design, delivery, assembly and installation for any business? This summer, we helped small businesses create their first ever store inside really, really big boxes. See how our experts built a fresh new store for Kai, owner of Stay Clean Daily.

Kai founded his London based sneaker cleaning business in 2019. whilst studying business at university. Once he graduated, he then went on to make the business a full-time venture. Stay Clean Daily are focused mainly on using eco-friendly solutions and methods to clean luxury items from shoes, sneakers to handbags and more.

We wanted to help him create the perfect space to take his business to the next level, so we helped Kai plan, design, assemble and install his first ever store at Boogietown festival, to keep all of the festival goers shoes looking fresher than ever.

From start to finish, our IKEA business experts were there every step of the way. We worked closely with Kai to plan and design the perfect space, then handled everything from delivery to assembly and installation.

When working with Kai on the design, it became clear how IKEA could help bring his store to life. “I wanted Kai’s unique brand style and colours to come through strongly with the design of this space. I used the grid wallpaper to resemble the familiar cutting mat he uses in his social media and strengthen the brand identity.”

The team focused on industrial materials such as concrete, stainless steel and black metals to bring the design to life with a cool and modern vibe, utilising the black SKADIS to show off his products and keep things organised.

And Kai was very impressed. “IKEA assisted us from beginning to end with our first shop experience. A place that felt like home. Our unique box was designed to match our business' brand and equipped with everything we needed to provide fresh sneakers for the Boogie Town festival lovers." 

And it didn’t stop with the pop-up box. Kai is now creating his actual store using IKEA's expertise once again, to design a new home!
