The Offer 

Subject to these terms and conditions, this Offer entitles IKEA Family members to 10% off selected Home Decoration mirrors (the “Offer”) at IKEA Cardiff (the “Participating Store”) store between 24 May 2025 and 1 June 2025 (the “Validity Period”).

How to redeem 

To redeem the Offer, the IKEA Family Member must purchase an Eligible Product during the Validity Period. A discount of 10% will automatically be applied at checkout.

Exclusions

This Offer is only available during the Validity Period.

General 

This Offer cannot be used towards purchases from IKEA Swedish Food Market, IKEA Bistro, IKEA gift cards, IKEA Restaurant, IKEA Cafe, IKEA Home Service Points, or IKEA services inclusive of Home Delivery, Installation, Assembly and Kitchen Planning. 
This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer or discount. A valid IKEA Family membership card must be presented at the time of purchase.  
IKEA reserves the right to refuse any IKEA Family membership card or coupon that IKEA believes has not been validly obtained or has been obtained fraudulently or dishonestly.
IKEA reserves the right to use their discretion in determining whether the IKEA Family membership is valid.
This Offer cannot be redeemed for cash, has no cash value, is not transferable and no change will be given.   
IKEA has absolute discretion in determining whether an offer is valid, and IKEA may refuse to accept any offer which IKEA reasonably suspects to be fraudulent, which is a copy and not the original, which is out of date or which is otherwise invalid.  
IKEA reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend this Offer where it becomes necessary to do so.  
All returns are subject to IKEA’s current returns policy; however, any refunds will take this Offer into account.  
IKEA reserves the right to withdraw or amend this Offer as necessary or due to circumstances outside IKEA's reasonable control.

Car Boot Sale - terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply between the Selected Sellers (“you” or “your”) and IKEA Limited (Company No. 01986283) whose registered office is 100 Avebury Boulevard, Milton United Kingdom, MK9 1FH

How does the car boot sale work?

Customers will be invited to participate in the second-hand home furnishing market next to the IKEA store at IKEA Cardiff (the “Event”). To enter, customers must register via Events tool online to enter for a place at the IKEA Cardiff. Successful entrants will receive an email from the relevant email above to confirm their place at the Event. Only those who receive an email confirmation from the relevant email address are confirmed to take part in the Event (“Selected Sellers”). The car boot sale is a free event, customers and Selected Sellers will not be expected to pay. Sellers will be selected by IKEA in advance and will set up their stalls on the day of the event prior to the arrival of the customers.

WHERE IS THE CAR BOOT SALE OFFERED?

The car boot sale is running on selected dates at the following IKEA stores: IKEA Cardiff – 18th May 2024 , 9:30am to 12pm, 19th May 2024 9:30am to 12pm

WHO CAN SELL?

The Selected Sellers are permitted to sell items, provided that they sell their personal property. For the avoidance of doubt, businesses and traders are not permitted to sell goods at this Event. All Selected Sellers must be aged 18 +.

PROHIBITED PRODUCTS

The following items are not permitted to be sold at the car boot sale:
Electrical goods
Hacked or modified products
Food items
Clothing
Mattresses
Prams and pushchairs
Paraffin heaters
Any age restricted products
Oil heaters
Firearms or weapons
Counterfeit goods
Products or material which could be considered offensive, is discriminatory, obscene or defamatory or includes (whether by image, gesture or other material of any kind) any violence, sex, nudity, cruelty, weapons, religious iconography or anything which may reasonably be considered to be offensive, anti-social, inflammatory or otherwise objectionable, and/or otherwise illegal.
The sale of toys is permitted, provided the CE or UKCA marking is present.
The sale of furniture requiring fire safety labelling is permitted, provided the correct labelling (per the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire)(Safety) Regulations 1988) is attached. Otherwise, its sale strictly prohibited.

IKEA RESPONSIBILITY

IKEA is facilitating the space for the Event. For the avoidance of doubt, IKEA has no involvement in the sale of items between Selected Sellers and the Selected Seller’s customers. IKEA, therefore, is not responsible for payment or after sale disputes between Selected Sellers and the Selected Seller’s customers.
IKEA is not responsible for any loss or damage to any person’s car or property entering or on the site.

LIABILITY

IKEA shall not be liable to the Selected Seller’s customer or the Selected Seller in relation to the sale of items.
Persons entering and taking part in the car boot sale do so at their own risk.

RETURNS POLICY

Please note that IKEA is not responsible or liable for any items purchased as part of the Event. Items bought as part of this event are not able to be refunded or returned. No item can be returned or exchanged for cash or cash value.

CANCELLATION

IKEA reserves the right to cancel this event at any time.

PRIVACY

Our privacy policy (together with our website’s terms of use) sets out why we collect data from you and how it will be processed by IKEA. Please read the Privacy policy available on our website, carefully so that you understand our views and practices and how we will treat your data.
For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 2018 and any future amendments or subsequent legislation, IKEA Limited is the “Data Controller”.

These terms are governed by English law and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
