About these Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the Food Delivery and Food Click and Collect service (the “Service”) we provide to you.

The formal stuff:  

IKEA Limited is a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 1 Bow Churchyard, London, EC4M 9DQ, United Kingdom. Our VAT number is 527773320. We are licensed to sell under the IKEA brand name by Inter IKEA Systems B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands.  

These terms and conditions may change from time to time, so please check these before making any purchase.

1          Participating Stores

This Service is provided by IKEA Birmingham store only. Please refer to section 6 below for details on eligibility to use this Service.

2          Available Products  

Available products from our Swedish Food Market range in-store will be displayed on the IKEA App or the dedicated “Mobile Food Page” as part of the Service.  

Available products are subject to change from time to time. Alcohol is excluded from this Service.

3          Placing your order

To place an order, you can access the Swedish Food Market offering via the IKEA App or the dedicated “Mobile Food Page”. From this page you can browse and explore our food range, add to your bag, select either delivery or click and collect, and then make the purchase online. Once you have completed your order and payment, you will receive an email with your e-receipt and a separate confirmation containing your order details and number.  

4          Pricing and Payment  

You will not be required to pay a service fee to use this Service.

The minimum order value is £15.00 (the “Minimum Value”). It will not be possible to place any order for this Service below this amount.  

The Minimum Value is calculated before any automatically applied IKEA Family discounts but after VAT applicable in the UK and after any price adjustments from our 'New Lower Prices', 'Last Chance to Buy', or 'Sale' product offers, where relevant.

This Service is included in the IKEA Family program and therefore, customers using the Service who sign into their IKEA Family member account to make purchases will be allocated IKEA Family reward points, in accordance with the IKEA Family member terms and conditions. IKEA Family discounts (beyond those automatically applied), staff discount or vouchers cannot be applied directly to the Food to Go service.   

Acceptable payment methods are Credit or Debit Card or Apple Pay.  

5          Order Limitations  

Subject to availability, a maximum of ninety-nine (99) units may be ordered per product in a single transaction. All products ordered are subject to availability. We reserve the right to withdraw any products from sale at any time and refund you any money paid to us for products which we are no longer able to supply.

6          Receiving your order – collection and delivery

Products bought using this Service are eligible for click and collect or delivery, subject to the below conditions.  

6.1        Receiving your order: General

Order Confirmation. Your collection or delivery details will be confirmed within your order confirmation email. We will try our best to meet the collection or delivery date and time; however, there may be times when we are unable to do this, and your confirmed date and time will be amended accordingly, at our discretion.

Maximum lead time. You can place an order up to a maximum of seven (7) days before collection or delivery.  

Changing your order. Once you have placed your order, you cannot change the content of your order or change the time or date of your collection or delivery. So, if you have made a mistake or would like different items or quantities, or are unavailable for your chosen slot, you will need to cancel your order in full and place a new one. To do this, please contact the IKEA Birmingham store on the telephone number per your confirmation email (01216 255 240) at least twenty-four (24) hours before your slot.  

Missing, incorrect or damaged products. Please inform our collection co-worker or delivery staff about any missing, damaged or incorrect products at the time of collection or delivery. These will be logged and refunded to your original payment method within fourteen (14) days. Damaged or incorrect products will be returned to store. It is your responsibility to ensure that your products are stored appropriately per the instructions on the product packaging; we cannot accept responsibility for items damaged after your order has been collected or delivered. Subject to this, if you notice following collection or delivery that a product is of poor quality or faulty, please notify IKEA Birmingham on 01216 255 240 as soon as possible. Please keep such products until their use-by dates so that we may have the opportunity to inspect them. If you do not, this could affect your claim.   

6.2                       Click and Collect

Collection is available from our IKEA Birmingham store. DPD pick-up points, external lockers and mobile pick-up points are not supported for this Service.

6.2.1 Collection Dates and Lead Times

When placing your order, you will choose a time slot and day for your collection.

Collection is available from:·       

  • 10:00 to 21:00 Monday to Saturday; and ·       
  • 11:00 to 16:00 on Sundays.  

You will be given a two (2) hour time slot to collect your order.

Collection is not available on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.  

For Bank Holidays, the collection slots will vary subject to the IKEA Birmingham store’s opening hours. Please contact IKEA Birmingham on 01216 255 240 for up-to-date information.

Orders can be placed no later than two (2) hours prior to collection.

6.2.2. Collecting your order

Please go to the pick-up point in the Birmingham store Swedish Food Market and show your order number to an IKEA co-worker. ID may be requested.  

Someone else can collect your order for you provided they have your order number and are an adult (18+), and you agree that we can rely on their instructions as if they were your own.   

You must check your order carefully, if you find that products are incorrect, missing or damaged, please notify the co-worker at the collection point.   

If you do not collect your order during your confirmed slot, your order will be kept until the end of the collection day being 21:00 Monday – Saturday, and 16:00 on Sundays. For Bank Holidays, the end of the collection day will vary subject to the IKEA Birmingham store’s opening hours. Please contact IKEA Birmingham on 01216 255 240 for up-to-date information.

If you have not collected your order by the end of the collection day, your order will be cancelled, and a refund will be processed within fourteen (14) days to your original payment method. If you have lost your order confirmation, please contact IKEA Birmingham on 01216 255 240 and we will confirm your order number.    

6.3                       Delivery

6.3.1. Delivery Dates and Times 

There are various delivery slots available to choose from:·       

  • Tuesday – Friday 16:00 – 19:30; ·       
  • Saturdays between 07:30 -10:30 and 16:00 – 19:30; or ·       
  • Sundays between 07:30 -10:30 and 14:00 – 17:00.  

We do not deliver on Mondays, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Please note that while delivery may be available on other Bank Holidays which do not fall on a Monday, the time slots may change subject to the IKEA Birmingham store’s opening hours. Please contact IKEA Birmingham on 01216 255 240.  

Orders can be placed no later than sixteen (16) hours prior to delivery.

6.3.2. Eligible Delivery Area 

To qualify for delivery, you must be located at one of the postcodes listed at Exhibit 1 (collectively, the “Eligible Delivery Area”). Please check your postcode during the ordering process. Orders cannot be placed for delivery addresses outside the Eligible Delivery Area.

6.3.3. Delivery Requirements 

When you arrange delivery, we will ask you to provide certain information. This information will be recorded on the delivery document and the delivery will take place at the delivery address you specify. If you provide us with incomplete, incorrect or inaccurate information or instructions, we may cancel the delivery by informing you in writing.

Our delivery staff are not permitted to leave the order unless you or someone on your behalf is present at the time of the delivery.  They must be over the age of eighteen (18) years, and you agree that we can rely on their instructions as if they were your own. If the delivery cannot be made, your order will be returned to store, and a refund will be processed within fourteen (14) days.  

All deliveries for this Service are transported in temperature-regulated vans and arrive in temperature-controlled crates which our delivery staff will take to your door for you to unpack. Our delivery staff will take the empty crates away. Neither you nor our delivery staff are permitted to carry the crates inside

Please check your order carefully. If you find that products are incorrect, missing or damaged, please notify our delivery staff.  

Once you have checked your order, the delivery will be marked as complete by our delivery staff on your behalf in your presence. This will not affect your legal right to notify us within a reasonable time at a later date if you find a defective product in your order.   

7          Our Liability  

We will not be responsible for any losses (including loss of revenue, profits, anticipated savings, goodwill or business opportunity, for any injury to your reputation) incurred due to a delay in collection or delivery arising out of any cause beyond our control. We will not be responsible for any stolen goods during or after the handover of goods between the customer and our delivery staff.  

8           Refunds, Returns and Exchanges

If you need to request a refund, please contact our support team at IKEA Birmingham on 01216 255 240. You will be refunded within fourteen (14) days to your original payment method. Please ensure you have your order confirmation and number to hand. In some instances, you may be required to return to the Service collection point in the IKEA Birmingham store Swedish Food Market.

Returning products is permitted at the point of collection or delivery. Afterwards, it will not be possible to return frozen or perishable food and drink products that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, unless the product is damaged.  

9          Privacy

Our Privacy policy (together with our website’s terms of use) sets out why we collect data from you and how it will be processed by IKEA. Please read the Privacy policy available on our website, carefully so that you understand our views and practices and how we will treat your data.

For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 2018 and any future amendments or subsequent legislation, IKEA Limited is the “Data Controller”.

10     Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and you and we both agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.    

11     Your consumer rights

These terms are in addition to and do not affect your legal rights in relation to goods that are faulty or not as described. For more information contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau  www.citizensadvice.org.uk


IKEA customers using Food delivery and food click and collect: get £10 off when you spend £60 or more at IKEA Birmingham

Terms and conditions   

The Offer

Subject to these terms and conditions, customers who place an order for food delivery or food click and collect at IKEA Birmingham between the Offer Dates, will receive an offer of £10 off £60 or more to spend in a single in-store transaction at IKEA Birmingham (the “Offer”) between 27 October 2025 and 31 January 2026 (inclusive) (the “Offer Dates”).   

How to Claim  

1.      IKEA customers placing an order for food via the App or online will receive (a) a physical leaflet containing the Offer when collecting or receiving the goods ordered, and/or (b) a digital coupon containing the Offer via an order confirmation email.

2.      In order to redeem the Offer the customer must present the coupon at the checkout at IKEA Birmingham during the Offer Dates.

3.      The QR code must be correctly scanned at the till.

4.      The £10 can only be spent in a single transaction. If the customer does not use up the £10 in a single transaction, the customer will lose the remainder of the £10 as this cannot be applied to another transaction.

5.      The minimum spend is £60.

6.      IKEA has absolute discretion in determining whether a voucher with QR code is valid, and IKEA may refuse to accept any QR code which IKEA reasonably suspects to be fraudulent, which is a copy and not the original, which is out of date or which is otherwise invalid.  

7.      The Offer is not available outside of the Offer Dates. 

Exclusions  

8.      The Offer does not apply to any food or drink purchases including (but not limited to) purchases from: IKEA Cafe, IKEA Bistro, IKEA Swedish Food Market, and IKEA Restaurant.   

9.      The Offer does not apply to products from Re-shop and Re-use.

10.   The Offer does not apply to the purchase of additional IKEA services, including but not limited to: Home Delivery, Installation, Assembly and Kitchen Planning.

11.    The Offer can only be redeemed once per customer during the Offer Dates.

12.   The customer must be an IKEA family member in order to use and redeem the Offer.

13.   This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer or discount.

14.   This Offer cannot be redeemed online.

15.   This Offer can only be redeemed at IKEA Birmingham.

12.   Nothing in this Offer can be exchanged or redeemed for cash has no cash value, is not transferable and no change will be given.    

13.   IKEA reserves the right to withdraw or amend this Offer as necessary or due to circumstances outside IKEA's reasonable control.

14.   Damaged, defaced, illegible, copied or altered vouchers/QR codes will not be accepted.  

Additional terms 

15.   All returns are subject to IKEA’s current returns policy; however, any refunds will take this offer into account. 

16.   By using this Offer you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

17.    These terms are governed by English law and the courts of England have exclusive jurisdiction.  

18.   Your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms and conditions.

Sommar of Sport Challenge  – Prize Draw Terms and Conditions United Kingdom - Birmingham  

By taking part in the Sommar of Sport Challenge you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please also read our Privacy Policy which explains further how we handle any data you share with us when you enter into the prize draw to win.

THE PROMOTER

The promoter of the prize draw is IKEA Limited of 100 Avebury Boulevard, Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, MK9 1FH.

HOW TO ENTER THE PRIZE DRAW  

  • There is no purchase necessary to participate in the prize draw.  
  • The prize draw will run from 22/07/2024 to 30/08/2024 during store opening hours (the “Promotional Period”). All individual prize draw entries received after the Promotional Period will be automatically disqualified. The activity is at the store’s discretion and may not be live at all times during the Promotional Period. Please check online or in-store for store opening hours.   
  • To be eligible to submit a prize draw entry, you must complete the Sommar of Sport Challenge sheet:
    • visit the IKEA Wednesbury store and use the Challenge sheet provided to you in store  
    • you will need to fill in your activity trail by completing all (5) activities around the store and mark down every shape on the trail sheet.  
    • the details of an adult aged 18 or over must be completed on the sheet all entrants under 18 must get permission from a parent or guardian to enter the prize draw
    • once completed, you must take the trail sheet and hand it into the postbox at the end of the showroom to enter the prize draw for a chance to win a Sommar of Sport hamper.  
  • The Prize cannot be redeemed in any other IKEA store, other than the store in which you complete the prize draw entry.  
  • The winner will be selected at random by a digital process. There will be one (1) winner. The winner will have seven (7) days to respond and claim the Prize, otherwise an alternative winner will be selected. The Prize will be sent to the winner at a UK address which will need to be supplied upon acknowledgement of the Prize.  
  • Multiple entries are not permitted. Only one entry per person will be included in the prize draw.  
  • The Promoter will not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, damaged or delayed regardless of cause.  

ELIGIBILITY

  • The Prize is open to UK residents, save for:
    • employees of the Promoter and agents or suppliers of the Promoter who are professionally connected with the prize draw or its administration;
    • or members of the households of (a) above. 
  •  A parent or guardian aged 18 or over must provide consent to enter and provide their details on the entry form, for any entrants under the age of 18.  
  • By entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Prize.
  • The Promoter may ask you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw.  
  • The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw.

  • For a chance to win the Prize the participant must have completed their Sommar of Sport trail sheet form provided and taken it to the postbox at the end of the showroom on the day of completion.  The winner will be selected at random by a digital process.  
  • Only customers who take part in the promotion in a participating IKEA UK store will be eligible to enter a prize draw for the opportunity to win a prize.  
  • The Prize is not negotiable, transferable or exchangeable and cannot be substituted for cash.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a Prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.  
  • The Promoter reserves the right to change the Prize offered to one of equivalent value if circumstances prevent the original Prize from being available.  
  • The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails [email protected] or writes to 100 Avebury Boulevard, Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, MK9 1FH (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in condition 4. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • As far as is permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable, in contract or tort (including negligence), or the breach of statutory duty or any other way, for the loss or damage howsoever arising suffered by any person/s suffered directly or indirectly from participating in this Promotion. Nothing in these terms shall limit the Promoter’s liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Your statutory rights are not affected.

DATA PROTECTION  

  • By entering the prize draw, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the prize draw entry may be held and used only by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers or any other relevant third party to administer the prize draw, and where relevant, it is confirmed that parent/guardian consent is provided.

GENERAL

  • If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition and/or prize draw.   
  • The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so as the Promoter may determine in its sole discretion.  
  • If the Promoter has suspicions or knowledge that you may be involved in any fraudulent or illegal activity, it reserves the right to disqualify you and any related entrant and the eligibility to win the Prize will be forfeited.   
  • The Promoter may disqualify any individual/s using the promotion in a way in which they deem inappropriate at its sole discretion (inappropriate use of the Promotion includes, without limitation, collusion, manipulation and engagement in any other activity that may give the entrant carrying out that activity an unfair advantage over other entrants).  
  • The Promoter’s decision is binding in all matters relating to this Promotion, and no correspondence shall be entered into.  
  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.  

IKEA Birmingham: family and friends of Co-Workers get 15% off in-store purchases between 12 February 2024 and 25 February 2024.

Terms and Conditions

The Offer

Subject to these terms and conditions, this offer entitles family and friends of IKEA Birmingham Co-Workers to 15% off purchases made in-store (the “Offer”) when the customer presents a valid coupon with QR code. Purchases must be made between 12 February 2024 and up to and including 25 February 2024 (the “Validity Period”).

How to Claim

  • To redeem this offer, the family and/or friends must receive the coupon with QR code from the Co-Worker. The family and/or friends must present the coupon with QR code in-store at the checkout at IKEA Birmingham during the Validity Period.
  • Each Co-Worker is entitled to distribute three (3) QR codes to friends and family.
  • Only one (1) QR code can be used in a single transaction for friends and family.
  • The Offer is only available to in-store purchases during the Validity Period. The Offer is not available outside of the Validity Period.   

Exclusions
