What payment methods and financing options does IKEA offer?
Whether you’re buying a new kitchen or just an IKEA hot dog, there are many ways to pay. Your preferred payment method may vary depending on where you shop and what you’re buying. You can use a variety of popular easy and convenient payment options to pay for your IKEA purchase.
Paying at an IKEA store
- All major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express) and IKEA VISA card.
- Mobile wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay.
- We accept cash payments in most of our IKEA stores, but find that many of our customers prefer to pay digitally. This excludes IKEA Plan and Order Points, Harlow, Chester, Norwich and Dundee.
- Cards, such as the IKEA for Business payment card.
- IKEA Financial services and the IKEA Family credit card.
- IKEA internal financing cards.
- IKEA Gift cards and IKEA Refund cards.
- Pre-paid cards such One4all gift cards and Love2shop Mastercards.

What if I have problems paying online?
Payment fails
- You’ve entered the card details correctly (name, card number and CVV).
- You have sufficient funds.
My voucher, coupon or discount code is not accepted
Payment through an Order PayLink provided by a customer service representative
- Check your email and make sure that the link is still valid.
- Open a different browser and copy the link into the address bar. You should be able to see the payment page.
- If you cannot find the email in your inbox, please check the Spam folder.
What if I have problems paying on the IKEA App?
If the issue persists, you can contact IKEA Customer Service online by typing “I want to talk to a human” in the chat, or by calling 01733520006.
