How does IKEA Second Hand service work?
Start by using the “Second Hand value Estimator Tool” to check how much in-store credit you'll get for your used IKEA products. Bring your products to your nearest IKEA store within 30 days of receiving your estimate. At the store, the condition of your products will be examined, and a final price will be given. You will receive an IKEA refund card to spend online or in-store.
Determine what you want to resell. Find out what products you can sell back to us on the list of eligible items.
Look out for an email with your estimated quote and estimation number.
Bring your products (fully assembled) with your estimation number to your nearest IKEA store within 30 days of receiving your estimate. The Second Hand service is available in all IKEA stores except Plan & Order Points.
At the Customer Service area of the store, the condition of your products will be examined, and a final price will be given. Items that qualify should be:
- In good, resaleable condition
- Listed as eligible
- Complete and fully functional
- Properly assembled when returned
- Clean and unmodified
You will receive an IKEA refund card with the agreed amount to spend on something you need or love online or in-store. You can use your refund card for an unlimited period of time from the date of issue.
All products in good condition will be resold in the store’s circular Second Hand department.
