“INTERNET WEEK 2019” PROMOTIONPROMOTION
This promotional activity aims to reward the first twelve thousand (12,000) purchases of home furnishing products of the IKEA brand of a value greater than two hundred euros, (€200.00) made online through the IKEA website (www.IKEA.es) between 13 May and 19 May 2019 (commonly known as Internet Week).For the purpose of total clarity, please note that the minimum sum of €200 must only include the purchase of IKEA products, and that amounts for services, transport, installation or of any other kind will not be counted or taken into consideration when calculating this amount.
Participating in this promotion implies your complete acceptance of these terms and conditions in their entirety.
TERM
The promotion will run from 00:00 on 13 May 2019 until 23:59 on 19 May 2019, or until a total of 12,000 purchases to a value greater than 200 euros have been made, whichever occurs sooner.
GEOGRAPHICAL AREA
The planned promotion will apply to all purchases made through the www.ikea.es website.
PRIZE
The prize will be a promotion card with a value of thirty euros (€30.00), valid until 31 August 2019 inclusive, and redeemable at all physical IKEA Spain stores except in the Canary and Balearic Islands, awarded to the first twelve thousand (12,000) customers to make a purchase in compliance with these terms and conditions.
OPERATION
Participants will be entered into the promotion when they shop online on the IKEA website within the specified promotion timeframe, provided that the value of the purchase is at least two hundred euros (€200.00) of home furnishing products of the IKEA brand. For the purposes of calculating this amount, the costs of any contracted services may not be included when calculating the value of the purchase, as established in the first section of the terms and conditions of this promotional offer.The purchases will be automatically recorded in the IKEA system, storing the contact email address of the person who made the purchase.
Once the promotion period has ended, the IKEA E-commerce Unit will consult the list of orders meeting the promotion conditions, and will select from these the first twelve thousand (12,000), who will be awarded their prizes in accordance with these terms and conditions.
Once selected, and within the 48 hours following the end of the promotional activity, winners will receive a corresponding promotional card number via the same email addresses through which they made their purchase.
The promotional card may only be used once and may not be used to pay for contracted services, nor may it be exchanged for cash or privately re-sold. Similarly, the promotional cards are not nominative to a specific winner, and therefore IKEA will not be liable in the event that a card is mislaid, lost or stolen.
Winners may redeem their promotional cards until 31 August 2019, after which date they are rendered invalid.
AMENDMENTS TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONSIKEA reserves the right to amend or add successive appendices to its practical arrangements and prizes, provided that they are justified, do not prejudice the participants and are properly communicated to the participants. In the event of circumstances that may be classified as an act of God, force majeure or any other similar, serious adverse event, IKEA will have the right to cancel the promotion by notifying the participants.
FRAUDULENT ENTRIES
IKEA reserves the right to justifiably eliminate any user who defrauds, alters or hinders the proper functioning and normal and regulatory course of this promotion.IKEA also reserves the right to amend or cancel the promotion in the event that it detects a high number of fraudulent entries or of entries that breach these terms and conditions.
In no event may a single person have more than one entry included in the list of prizewinners, even if some or all of their purchases reach the minimum value set out in these terms and conditions to be eligible for entry. Each participant will only be entered into the promotion once.
Any attempt at betting, or using similar methods is prohibited. No automatic, scheduled, robotic or similar purchase will be permitted.
IKEA shall not be responsible for any error or omission in the publicity for the promotion.
DATA PROTECTION
The arrangements for the promotion require that the personal information provided is truthful and complete, and that participants ensure that it is kept up to date. If the personal information is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, IKEA will be released, in those specific cases, from the good faith implementation of the promotion and of any consequence related thereto, which may ultimately result in no winner being declared for the promotion.In accordance with applicable data protection legislation, IKEA hereby notifies the participants of the following points in connection with the processing of personal information.

The participants’ personal information will be processed as long as is required for the purposes detailed in the previous section.
Once the promotion has ended, these purposes have been achieved and, where applicable, the time periods specified by applicable legislation have expired, the personal information will be destroyed using a secure process, in compliance with current regulations.
