What are the general delivery restrictions and requirements?
Most IKEA products can be delivered, but there may be restrictions for fragile, oversized or seasonal products. In this case, our Click & Collect service is a good alternative. We deliver within Germany - delivery addresses on German islands may have their own delivery conditions. Delivery availability depends on your location, the size of your order and the product type. To ensure a smooth shipment, please enter your address correctly when ordering and answer the delivery questions.
Accessibility of the delivery address: Our carriers need free access to your delivery location and a place to park. We cannot deliver to addresses with unsafe access, such as construction sites of unfinished residential or commercial buildings. To ensure a smooth process, it is important that you provide full delivery details such as floor level when ordering.
Delivery locations: IKEA products purchased in Germany can only be delivered to addresses within Germany. Currently, international shipments from IKEA Germany are not possible. Shipments to German islands are possible, for some islands different delivery conditions apply. We cannot deliver to personal PO boxes. To see which delivery options are available for your delivery address, visit the product page of the desired item on IKEA.de and enter your address details in the "How to get it" section. If you are ordering multiple items, you can also check which ordering options are available during your order. Please note that IKEA does not transport products from one store to another.
Products that can be ordered: Most IKEA products can be ordered for shipment, but some products can only be ordered at the IKEA store for Click & Collect. These include our plants, for example. Delicate products such as glassware and mirrors, as well as seasonal products may also be excluded from shipment. Food cannot be ordered. To check which ordering options are available for your desired product, take a look at the respective product page - all opportunities are displayed to the right of the image.
Order value: A minimum order value of €10 applies for parcel deliveries. The available order methods are automatically displayed during the order process based on your order value, size, number of items and availability.
Exact details for shipment: You will be asked to specify the delivery location and answer the delivery questions. This enables our delivery company to plan your shipment properly.
