How do I order small spare parts?

You can easily order small spare parts at any time – using the Order spare parts tool, the Purchases page in your IKEA Family account or visiting the Customer Service desks in IKEA stores.

You can order small spare parts – such as individual parts such as screws, buttons, dowels or other fittings – at any time after you buy your IKEA product. You can recognize these parts by their 6- to 8-digit number in the assembly instructions. Your order will usually be shipped within three to five working days by post delivered.

How do I order small spare parts online?
You can easily order small spare parts online. There are two ways to do this:
  1. Via the Order spare parts tool
Order small spare parts directly through our website. For this, consider the 6- to 8-digit spare part number from your assembly instructions, enter it, select the appropriate part and complete the order. Please note: This service is not available in the IKEA app.
2. Via your IKEA Family Account
If your purchase is linked to your IKEA Family account, you can order small spare parts directly from your order summary.
Here's how to do it:
  1. Login to your IKEA Family Account.
  2. Open the section "Purchases".
  3. Click under "My Purchases" on the Purchase for which you need spare parts.
  4. Select "Order spare parts".
  5. Select the Product and confirm with "Continue".
  6. On the next page you will see All individual parts that can be ordered to this product – with picture and spare part number.
  7. Select the Required quantity and click on the Pluse (+) to add the spare part to the shopping cart.
  8. Continue the order and Complete it.
Please note: The button "Order spare parts" will be not displayed if
  • the product contains no small spare parts
  • the product is no longer in range
  • the order was Cancelled or Returned
How do I get small spare parts in the IKEA store?
If you need a small spare part faster, you can visit your nearest IKEA store. Contact the Customer service desk, which is usually located near the exit. Many stores have a small selection of immediately available individual parts that our employees can hand over to you directly.
The availability of small spare parts can not be checked in advance. If the part you need is not in stock, the staff will be happy to help you and order it for you.
Please note:
IKEA planning studios are no full-fledged stores and can therefore not handout or order small spare parts.
How do I order small spare parts for products that have been discontinued?
For products that are no longer in range, we no longer keep individual components or small parts in stock.
If you still have access to the Assembly instruction, it's worth taking a look at the Order spare parts tool. With a bit of luck, you can use the 6- to 8-digit spare part number to order screws, dowels or other small fittings.
If that doesn't work, it can help to take the missing part to a DIY store - you will find many standard screws or dowels there in a similar design.
How are small spare parts delivered?
Small spare parts will be delivered per Post. Delivery usually takes three to five working days and is free of charge.
How can I track the order?
After you have ordered your small spare parts, you will receive a Confirmation email. However, tracking is not possible – neither for you nor for our employees, as small spare parts are sent in a regular envelope.
What can I do if my order does not arrive?
If your small spare parts have not yet arrived, please type "order spare parts" in the chat. This will connect you directly to our customer service. Our staff will then check whether your order has been submitted correctly, whether all information is complete and, if necessary, arrange for a re-delivery.
