You can return well-preserved IKEA furniture and receive a prepaid card for future purchases, giving your furniture a second life and promoting sustainability. IKEA Family members receive an additional 15% bonus on the buyback price.
IKEA Second Chance Buyback Service
With the IKEA second chance buy-back service, you can sell your used IKEA products back to us all year round. This will give your furniture a new home – and you'll receive an IKEA prepaid card that you can easily redeem online or in an IKEA store.
What you get in return

As an IKEA Family member, you will receive an additional 15% off the buy-back price – also as an IKEA prepaid card.

Which products are suitable?
In order for us to resell your product, it must meet the following criteria:
Condition & Function
- in good, resalable condition.
- fully and fully functional.
- Clean, unchanged and properly installed.
Product Requirements
- Listed as buy-back suitable on ikea.de.
- Clearly recognizable as an IKEA product.
(e.g. by product stickers or stamps).
We can only buy back products that meet all these requirements.
