Does IKEA have a lifetime return policy?
We’ll take back an IKEA product you have purchased from IKEA between 25 August 2014 and 31 August 2016 for an unlimited period of time if you are not satisfied with it.
Bring the product to your IKEA store with proof of purchase (receipt, delivery note, or invoice) and we will refund you the full purchase price. Note that this does not apply to green plants, items from our Zweite-Chance-Markt, or cut goods.
This return policy only applies to private individuals. We will not take back goods purchased for business use, whether commercial or in self-employment.
You can no longer return products purchased before 25 August 2014. Our 365-day return policy has been in effect since 1 September 2016.
It's okay if you change your mind. If, contrary to expectations, you are not satisfied after your purchase or change your mind, you can take advantage of our generous 365-day return policy.
