Can I return a product to the store?
If you have purchased from IKEA Germany online or in a store, you can return your product to any IKEA store in Germany.
If you want to return a product purchased in Germany, you can do so in any IKEA store in Germany. Exception: IKEA Ingolstadt is currently unable to accept returns. Please use another IKEA store near you instead.n counter. You will find this near the exit behind the checkouts.
Prepare your return online and save valuable time in the store
To save time in the store and avoid the regular queue, start your return online via theExpress returns. Here's how it works:
- Open the Express Return Form.
- Add the details of your receipt or order number.You'll need your receipt or proof of purchase when you create the return. If you don't have it physically at hand, you can find it in your IKEA Family member Purchase history.
- Enter the products you want to return.You can add up to ten items.
- Enter all the requested information, such as the reason for your return.
- Submit the form as soon as everything is complete.
- Receive your return barcode. It will be sent to you via text message or email.
- Visit an IKEA store within 14 days, along with the barcode and the products you want to return.The return & exchange area is usually located near the entrance or exit. There you will find a special queue for customers with express returns.
Please note: If you do not prepare your return online beforehand, you will need to bring your receipt/proof of purchase to the store along with the product.
