Can I return a product at an IKEA store?
If you made your purchase at IKEA Germany – either online or in-store – you can return your product at any IKEA store in Germany.
Prepare your return online and save valuable time in the store
- Open the Express return form.
- Add your receipt or order number details. You need to have your receipt or proof of purchase available when creating the return. If you don't have it physically, you can find it by accessing your Purchase history page if you're an IKEA Family member.
- Enter the products you want to return. You can add up to ten items.
- Provide all requested details. You will for example have to choose a reason for your return.
- Submit the form once everything is complete.
- Receive your return barcode. It will be sent to you via SMS or email.
- Visit an IKEA store within 14 days, along with the barcode and the product(s) you want to return. The Return & Exchange area is usually located near the entrance and exit of the IKEA store. Once you get there, you will find a specific queue for customers who have created an express return.
