Can I return a product I bought in the Second Chance Market?
Products from the IKEA Second Chance market are excluded from our regular 365-day return policy. This means that a return is usually not possible if you decide otherwise after purchase or if you no longer want to keep the item.
- Items from the Second Chance Market are sold at a reduced price and are generally exempt from the 365-day return policy.
- A return due to a change of mind is therefore usually not possible.
- You can find the exact conditions in the IKEA Terms and Conditions and the information about our return policy.
Items from the IKEA Second Chance store are usually not returnable and are excluded from the 365-day return policy. An exception is certain Home Smart Sound products, which have separate return rules.

If a product does not meet your expectations, you can return many items to IKEA thanks to the 365-day return policy. The prerequisite is that the products are unused, undamaged and clean. It is not a problem if the packaging has already been opened or the item has already been assembled. The original packaging is not required for the return.
