How do I order larger spare parts?

You can order larger spare parts through our IKEA customer service team – either online or in your local IKEA store. If you can't find the spare part number or need support, our staff will be happy to help you.

You usually need larger spare parts when you want to replace an IKEA product and the missing part has no 6- to 8-digit spare part number . Such parts cannot be ordered directly online – here our employees will support you in finding the right spare part and placing the order. How do I order larger spare parts online?
Larger spare parts can not be ordered directly in self-service online. If you need assistance or don't know the spare part number, our Customer Service will gladly support you.
This is how it works online:
  • Just contact us via the Chat on IKEA.de and type in „order spare parts". So you will be directly connected to our Employees .
  • Together we will check which larger spare part you are missing and whether it is available.
  • If the required spare part is available, we guide you through the ordering process and organize the delivery.
  • Ideally, hold your Proof of purchase/invoice or your Order number ready – that speeds up the clarification.
How do I order larger spare parts in the IKEA store?
If you would like to order larger spare parts directly on site, the staff in the store will be happy to help you. It's best to bring your Proof of purchase or your invoice with you. If you have used your IKEA Family Account you can also find the receipt online in your Purchases.
This is how it works in the furniture store:
  • Visit the Customer service desk – it is usually located near the entrance or exit.

For products that are no longer in range, it is worth checking whether the required spare part is still available.
This is the best way to proceed:
  • Just contact us via Chat on IKEA.de and type in „order spare parts". So you will be directly connected to our Employees .
  • Together we will check whether the spare part is still available and whether we can place an order for you.
It is best to have the following information ready:
  • Product Name
  • Article number
  • Description of the missing spare part
  • Photo of the piece of furniture or component (if possible)
Is the required spare part no longer available, the staff will inform you about it and support you in finding a possible solution.
How can I track the order?
After you have ordered a larger spare part, you will receive your order confirmation by e-mail. In it you will also find a Tracking link, which you can use to track the status of your delivery at any time.
What can I do if my order does not arrive?
If your larger spare part has not arrived despite being tracked, please indicate in the chat „order spare parts". So you will be directly connected to our Employees . We will then check whether your order has been submitted correctly and, if necessary, arrange for a re-delivery.
