Advanced functions
Mineral drying
Mineral drying absorbs moisture and releases heat in return. This natural heat efficiently dries dishes, even plastic, while using less energy. The minerals regenerate automatically and do not need to be replaced.
Cutlery drawer
The pull-out cutlery basket creates a third level and ensures that cutlery doesn't get stuck. The size of the cutlery drawer also allows you to store smaller kitchen utensils and even espresso cups.
Maintenance program
This program cleans the dishwasher while it is empty by rinsing it with hot water. Doing this regularly will prevent odors and ensure perfectly clean dishes. Most of our dishwashers have this feature - discover them yourself!
Display remaining time on the ground
A light display showing the remaining program time is projected onto the floor.

The interior lighting ensures a good overview when loading and unloading, even in a dimly lit room.
How to integrate your built-in dishwasher?
Install your dishwasher
Follow your dishwasher's installation instructions to install and connect your dishwasher to your water inlet and drain. Remember to raise the height of your dishwasher as much as possible using the adjustable feet and to level your dishwasher vertically and horizontally using a spirit level.
Please note that a built-in dishwasher without a kitchen front over it will tend to have its door automatically raise when you use it. The kitchen front provides a counterweight to prevent this from happening.
Install the kitchen front on your dishwasher
As mentioned earlier, to prevent the dishwasher door from lifting on its own, it is essential to install the front on top. To do this, choose the VÅGLIG system to firstly fix the different sides that make up your kitchen front (from 2 to 4 sides) and secondly fix your front to your dishwasher. The system includes the different elements to easily fix your front to your IKEA dishwasher.
If you have purchased a semi-integrated dishwasher, use the ERSÄTTARE system for semi-integrated dishwashers (when the control panel is located on the front of your kitchen).
Optionally install a baseboard
To complete the installation of your new dishwasher in your kitchen, you may need to add a plinth to conceal your dishwasher's legs. Our 8cm-high plinths , guaranteed for 25 years, will easily match the finish of your IKEA kitchen.
If your dishwasher is located between two METOD kitchen cabinets, the cabinet feet will allow you to easily attach your plinth thanks to their hook system. If this is not the case, place your plinth in front of your dishwasher feet; this will still easily conceal them and create a coordinated kitchen from head to toe!
