365 days to think about it
Everyone changes their minds from time to time. At IKEA, we give you a whole year to change it! Undamaged and unused products purchased in IKEA stores in the Czech Republic can be returned within 365 days of purchase, without giving a reason. All you have to do is bring them to us together with the proof of purchase on time - and that's it!
If you have your receipt or order number handy, follow the link below and enter your details to receive your Express return barcode. This will make your journey at the Returns counter much quicker.
How to use it?
- Prepare your receipt number and your details
- Select up to 10 products to return
- Submit the form and wait for the confirmation email and SMS
- Come to the chosen department store within 14 days and don't forget to bring your proof of purchase and the products in the original packaging
90 nights to try out a mattress
Take the opportunity to try out your mattress in the comfort of your home for up to 90 nights. If you are not satisfied with it and it's undamaged and not soiled, you can return it to us and exchange it for another one. You can try out all mattresses that are covered by a 10-year guarantee.
Most IKEA products have a 2-year guarantee. We provide an extended guarantee of 5, 10, 15 and 25 years for some of our products. The guarantee period is stated for individual products. Live flowers, electric batteries, light bulbs, IKEA FAMILY textiles and food are covered by statutory guarantee. Products from the discounted goods department are covered by a guarantee period of 1 year. However, this does not apply to defects that were the reason for which a product was discounted. Guarantees apply to household use only.
While we do our utmost to supply high-quality products with a long service life, it sometimes happens that a product needs to be returned during its guarantee period due to various manufacturing or other defects. Once we acknowledge a claim, we will either repair, exchange or refund the goods to you according to the valid conditions for returning them.
You can place your claim:
In the store - the fastest and most effective solution. Bring the product and the receipt to the Customer Service department, where we will immediately replace it when your claim is recognised.
Through the Customer Support Centre - contact our Customer Support Centre and resolve your claim. If you have the receipt and the product to hand, simply fill out the Return form.
I am submitting a claim about a product or service, or I have a comment
Product:Was the product damaged during the guarantee period? Please prepare proof of purchase (you can also find your digital receipt on IKEA FAMILY), provide a description of the defect, and state the preferred solution.If you are submitting a claim about the product remotely and it is possible to document the defect, please attach photos of the product to your application.
Service: Do you think that an error has occurred in an IKEA service? In the event of a claim about any service purchased at IKEA, please prepare the order number (you will find it either on the receipt or on the order itself) and the assembly or delivery protocol for the service.
Comment:Are you complaining about an error at the checkout, staff behaviour or other situations?Please provide as much identification data as possible to help us resolve the situation in the shortest possible time.
I am submitting a claim about an electronic/gas appliance
Although our appliances have Swedish names, the original suppliers are Electrolux, Whirlpool and Faber. They also provide after-sales service and services related to claims. And how do I go about it?
- Prepare proof of purchase, which is required for guarantee-based claims. Find more about the guarantee here.
- Copy the five-digit serial number and twelve-digit service numberfound above and below the barcode of your appliance.
