1. Make your own mood board

You can do so much with a memo board. Update it regularly according to the season or showcase the stuff you love at the moment. As the night draws in, draw attention to your wall with mood lighting: the timeless SKURUP wall lamp adds a touch of industrial chic.

2. Mix & match photo frames

Go bold by blending different styles to create your own playful look. Give your gallery wall a bigger presence in your room by setting a desk or set of drawers against the wall to display even more items. Eye-catching!

3. Bring life to unused spaces

Find a bare wall in your home – a corner by a window, say, where you can take advantage of the natural light streaming in. Hang up rows of MOSSLANDA picture ledges on the wall to show off your favourite framed prints. Curtains in neutral colours won’t steal the show from your art wall.

4. Express yourself

You don’t need to be a famous artist to make art. Just pick a colour you like, dip in your brush and paint some abstract shapes. If you hang your doodles on the wall with washi tape, you can take them down and put them up somewhere else without damaging the walls.

5. Create a modern display with storage

A smart pegboard brings your wall to life while helping you stay organised at the same time. Add various accessories, such as hooks, shelves and containers, that are also easy to remove and replace. Now that’s flexible!

6. Get the hang of art in double-quick time

Start by picking out a selection of pictures of something you love, like a dream holiday destination. You can make a collage to create your own wall display. Now add your own gubbins and mementos that fit the theme in a classic low glass-door cabinet, like this MILSBO one.
