Can I change my mattress if I return the old IKEA mattress?

If you want to change your mattress to a more expensive one, IKEA simply asks you to pay the difference between the original purchase price and the price of the chosen replacement mattress.

A mattress may feel a little firm at first. Give your body and mattress about a month to get used to each other. For optimal comfort, also choose a pillow adapted to your morphology and your mattress.
If, after this period, you are not completely satisfied, we can no longer exchange your mattress. You can exchange your mattress only once within 90 days of your purchase, provided that it is in good condition.
Dirty, stained or damaged mattresses are excluded from our return policy. We recommend using a mattress protector: it keeps your mattress fresh and clean, and extends its life by several years.
  • If you choose a more expensive model: you simply pay the difference between your initial purchase and the new model.
  • If you choose a cheaper model: we'll give you the difference in the form of an IKEA voucher, valid for your next purchase.
