With the DIRIGERA hub you turn your home into a smart home.
Together with the IKEA Home smart‑app you can control all your smart IKEA products, individually, per room or all at once.
You can use the app on your smartphone or tablet to control light, blinds, air purifiers, and speakers, for example.

What do I need to get started with IKEA Smart Home? 

To control your smart IKEA products with the app, you need: 
  • DIRIGERA hub 
  • a WiFi router with a free network port 
  • a smartphone or tablet with the IKEA Home smart app 
  • one or more smart IKEA products (such as smart lighting, roller blinds, air purifiers or speakers) 
You need the DIRIGERA hub to: 
  • see and control your smart products in the app 
  • use extra digital features 

Which smart IKEA products can I connect? 

All smart products in the IKEA range can be connected to the DIRIGERA hub. 
Think of: 
  • smart LED bulbs 
  • air purifiers 
  • speakers 
  • roller blinds 
  • other smart products for your home 
You can easily add new smart products through the IKEA Home smart app. 

How do I use my IKEA smart home in everyday life? 

With DIRIGERA and the app, you can: 
  • dim lights or change the mood with a single tap 
  • let air purifiers run automatically before you go to sleep 
  • group speakers by room 
  • open and close roller blinds according to a schedule 
Remote controls are handy if you want to dim or switch lights on and off quickly, for example for your guests. They also work when you do not have an internet connection for a moment or your smartphone is not nearby. 

How long can I use my smart IKEA products with DIRIGERA? 

You can connect smart IKEA products you already own to the DIRIGERA hub and keep using them with the IKEA Home smart app. 
Over time, new features, standards and security improvements are added. Older products might not always support every new feature. This is a result of the efforts IKEA makes to improve the smart home ecosystem for everyone.
