There’s a bit of an accordion in every PAX wardrobe

Could the construction of a wardrobe be even remotely interesting to anyone? Yes! Because thanks to its foldable frame, PAX now assembles three times faster. Yes, t-h-r-e-e. This clever construction also makes it much easier to disassemble PAX. A big bonus if you need to move it or plan on passing it on. Some say that the inspiration to the foldable frame comes from a local Swedish accordion player. Unfortunately, we can neither confirm nor deny that but we always appreciate a good polka.

What to consider when buying a wardrobe

Choosing a wardrobe isn't something you do on a whim. You want to store all your favourite outfits, shoes and accessories in an organised way. And naturally, you want a wardrobe that's not just functional but also stylish, one that matches your personality perfectly.

It helps to decide beforehand what type of wardrobe you need. Where will you place it and how much space do you have? What will you store and is it for the whole family or just yourself? Once you know this, the fun part begins: choosing and organising your wardrobe.

What's a closet?

A closet is a storage space for clothes, typically built into a room or designed as freestanding furniture. In British English, "wardrobe" usually describes freestanding furniture, while "closet" often refers to built-in storage. Both serve the same purpose: keeping your clothes organised and protected.

Affordable wardrobes in all shapes and sizes

With our affordable wardrobes and fitted systems, the possibilities are endless. You can have a wardrobe fitted so it looks like an integrated part of your bedroom. Or choose a freestanding wardrobe or complete walk-in dressing room. Pick the wardrobe and dimensions that best suit your space.

Choose from:

  • Wardrobes with hinged doors, mirrored doors and sliding doors
  • Open wardrobes and walk-in closets for your dressing room
  • Corner wardrobes and sloped ceiling solutions to maximise your space
  • Wardrobes for hallways or children's rooms

Which wardrobe fits in a small bedroom?

For small bedrooms, wardrobes with sliding doors are ideal. They're practical when you have less than 80 centimetres of free space in front of the wardrobe. The doors slide back and forth within the wardrobe frame, so you don't need extra space to open them.

Corner wardrobes also make optimal use of available space.

How do you organise your wardrobe?

Many of our wardrobes include interior fittings like clothes rails, organisers and shelves to arrange your outfits. Here are some helpful tips:

  • Hang two clothes rails one above the other to double your hanging space
  • Hang dresses, jackets and shirts on hangers to prevent creasing
  • Fold t-shirts, trousers and jumpers in drawers or on shelves
  • Use our clothes and shoe boxes or hanging organisers to create extra space

Discover all our tips for organising your wardrobe neatly and stylishly.

How do you create an affordable custom wardrobe?

With the PLATSA system or PAX system, you decide the look, size and interior yourself. Design your own wardrobe that fits your life perfectly. Customise the interior with drawers, shelves and clothes rails as you wish.
