Day-bed or every night-bed?

Everybody knows that a day-bed is a great solution to use as a guest bed, but why stop there? With the right mattress pad and bedding, it can work perfectly as a comfortable full-time bed as well. It’s just a bonus that it has the benefit of quickly “disappearing” when you need a sofa instead, or just more space in the room. The drawers below are perfect to store duvets, cushions or extra bedding.

Beyond a door ajar, a sunlit bedroom transforms in playful stop-motion animation: A rattan bench with storage slides away and three spacious lacquered drawers, at one end of a white double bed, open up. Pink and multicoloured sheets, quilts and fluffy pillows crawl into the spacious draws. Then mattress topper rolls itself away. The mattress folds back and the daybed retracts to create a cosy sofa.
