Can I return a product at an IKEA store?
If you purchased a product from IKEA Austria, either online or at an IKEA store, you can return it at any IKEA store in Austria. Returns at IKEA Planning Studios are not possible.
You can return IKEA products purchased in Austria:
- at an IKEA store
- or online at IKEA.at
Returns can be made at any IKEA store in Austria (not possible at IKEA Planning Studios), regardless of which IKEA store in Austria you originally purchased the product from. Products purchased online at IKEA.at can also be returned at an IKEA store.
1. HOW TO RETURN A PRODUCT AT AN IKEA STORE
Bring your product together with your proof of purchase to the returns and exchanges counter. This is usually located near the exit, behind the checkouts.
2. USE EXPRESS RETURNS
To speed up the process, you can use the IKEA Express Returns service.
Simply enter your return details online before your visit. This saves time and allows you to skip the queue.
How it works
- Enter your proof of purchase or order confirmation.
- Select the items you want to return.
- Enter the reason for the return.
- You will then receive a barcode.
You can scan this barcode at the IKEA store within 14 days.
3. NUMBER OF ITEMS THAT CAN BE RETURNED VIA EXPRESS RETURNS
The Express Returns service is limited to a maximum of 10 items. If you want to return 10 items or fewer, you can complete the online form and follow the instructions provided.
