Which products can I return to IKEA?
Find out which IKEA products you can return, either online or at an IKEA store, and what return conditions apply.
At IKEA, it’s perfectly fine to change your mind. That’s why you can return almost all products purchased at an IKEA store or online at IKEA.at within 365 days.
Depending on the payment method used, the refund will either be made to your original payment method or, if you prefer, issued on an IKEA refund card.
Returns are only possible for products purchased in Austria.
Products you can return:
- Furniture, disassembled or assembled, provided it is undamaged
- Household and kitchen products
- Lighting, storage solutions, mirrors and home accessories
- Products purchased online at IKEA.at
Important information about returns:
- Electrical appliances must be returned in their original packaging. Please also note the 14-day statutory right of withdrawal for online and telephone orders. For more details, see our Change of Mind policy.
- Mattresses can be exchanged as part of our 90-day mattress trial.
- Second Life items can be returned within 365 days. The refund will be issued on an IKEA refund card. Please note that items purchased through the Second Life Buyback Service can only be returned through the regular buyback process.
Your statutory right of withdrawal and your statutory rights in the event of faulty goods remain unaffected.
