IKEA home transport

TERMS AND CONDITIONS - IKEA is not liable if the below criteria is not met:

  • Please ensure that someone is at home at the designated delivery day and time.
  • Request to reschedule delivery and installation must be arranged at least 24hrs in advance.
  • The products in their original packaging must be able to enter the house (Entrance door size, elevator, passages in the building). IKEA shall not deliver the Furniture and appliances using the stairway.
  • Please make sure all obstacles in the way, such as paintings, cabinets & other hanging objects are removed.
  • Please ensure that electricity and ventilation are available and in working condition before the delivery date.
  • IKEA will not fix or mount any accessories to the wall (small mirrors, wall shelfs, picture frames)
  • IKEA shall not dismantle /shift/modify/remove existing IKEA or non-IKEA furniture at customer place. 
  • Due to stability and safety issues, wall cabinets can only be mounted concrete/bricks/blocks walls.
  • For safety reasons, IKEA Delivery and Assembly team will always wear safety shoes during the furniture assembly.
  • Assembly service charges for furniture don't include curtains and lighting assembly.
  • In case the product has any defective will be replaced within 48 hours in Dubai and 5 days outside.
  • I've agreed for any damages for (Electrical, water pipes or wall) during the assembly of wall mounted item will be under my responsibility.
