I turned two of these into an L-shaped desk for my office...CherylThe wood is beautiful, I had no issues with color coordination but I did ask to view them during pickup. So I took two of these two very expensive boards, bought some decorative load-bearing legs, and made a gorgeous L desk in my home office. It turned out stunning!! I love this wood grain design, the chevron pattern is not too busy but also definitely gives the wood character. I love how it all turned out!!5
Great lookCarlaLove the look of the countertop. But it’s a little long, we are going to have to cut it but the extra veneer pieces that came with it don’t match the countertop top. It’s a much lighter color. Anyone else experience this? Does @Ikea sell the right color pieces?4

A very well made product!!!Anonymous reviewerI highly recommend these countertops, and wish I could post a pic of my kitchen because I get more compliments on these countertops than I can count. Installed in 2019, and we are cooks, we use the crap out of our kitchen, I was nervous putting in this product, but for the price and the look of it I thought it worth the risk. The wear and tear from the last 4+ yrs only makes them look more like real wood. We use our granite island to put hot things down and to do all of our food prep, but these are around our farm sink, ovens and the stove top, and they have held up really well against heat, oil and water. In fact any oil has proven to work well on them. I also have them on my bar top, we had to customize the strip for the raw side with liquid nails and sanded the edges down to smooth the seam..again wish I could post a pic, they are absolutely beautiful! And incredibly affordable, when I tell people how much my countertops cost they do not believe me. 5
Nice Veneer CountertopCarletonA good looking veneer tabletop. I installed it fairly easily, cuts easily and doesn't splinter. Time will tell on the durability but for the price, it's a nice option. 5

Beware product color differs greatlyCibellePurchased three of them and they were vastly different colors, ranging from a light golden to dark walnut. No way to check the color before purchasing, and we couldn't find matching ones after two rounds of exchanges1

Gorgeous countertopMarisaI love this countertop so much in my remodeled kitchen. The warmth of the walnut is beautiful, and the chevron pattern adds visual interest. It was so easy to install too. I even was able to cut out the hole for my sink myself with a jigsaw. It's a versatile piece, because we used the excess of one piece to create a bench in our mud room by adding hairpin legs. Very happy with this purchase, and would buy it again.5
Beautiful ... BUT!PhilThese countertops are beautiful! What they do not tell you is that the countertop is not solid butcher block, only the top and sides are butcher block finish, which works in some applications but not all. If you cut it you will not have a butcher block finish at the cut, they provide glue on strips to finish the edges and the back of the countertop is a felt material not the finish you see! But a stunning piece. Also, if you buy two or more to attach they most likely will NOT be an exact match in finish!5
