FIXA great for Ikea doors onlyDorthyThis is a cheap and handy tool for making sure you mark/drill your cabinet doors and draws correctly if you are adding hardware. Works great. I was hoping to use it on some other cabinets in my home that are not Ikea but had no luck because of decorative molding. Still worth the little extra money it saved us a lot of time in our new kitchen.
helps but not perfectPatriciaIt is hard to read and harder to store - it needs a hole to hang from or something. Otherwise it does help with consistent drilling.
Drill templateChristineThis application ruler like application tool was so convenient when putting on new pulls or handles on cabinet doors or drawers. All you do is decide , choose , mark with pencil the specific placement to drill or use screwdriver to apply hardware to door/ drawer front. Was very easy & simple to use.
Useful guide for plotting fastenersSteveI've used versions of this over the years for plotting handle and pull holes for kitchen cabinets, drawers, etc. It works well, I've even used it on a small woodworking project. My first one cracked after about a decade, and I got a new one. Quality is good, but it's not super sturdy, so be careful.
It works best if you have a second flat surface perpendicular to the end of the item so that Fixa can butt up against it, and measurements are consistent from piece to piece.

Great for what it isAnonymousIt worked very well. I would like one that was wider to allow for drilling holes lower on the base cabinet drawers and wall cabinets. This one limits how far from the edge you can drill. Fine for most purposes but I was limited by the tool.
Not tall enough!SonyaI was excited when I saw the length of this template, since it would seem to work better for extra long pulls. That said, the template isn't tall enough! It stops around ~2 inches tall. So if you, like me, want to center your handle right in the middle of a standard just under 5-inch tall IKEA drawer front (i.e 2-7/16 inches), this template won't work! What a bummer.
Good TemplateSusanI didn't find out about the template until after we finished the cabinets. Worth the money.
Unfortunately warpedAnonymousWe used the template as instructed, but it was warped and so the first two handles ended up crooked. We ended up having to correct the issue with other tools to get the handles straight and level.

Not for American HardwareAnonymous reviewerTried to use this on cabinet pulls with 3 inch span. The holes in the template did not match the spacing of the holes in the handles. I suspect this template is for IKEA handles.
Quite smart indeed!AnonymousThis is exactly what I was looking for! I bought my Ikea Kitchen and didn't know how to install the handles. Why doesn't this ship with a kitchen purchase?? That would be ideal. Now I have to make another trip to my local Ikea over 100 miles away..
